Tucked away on a quiet, picturesque street, this family home underwent a full reconfiguration and refurbishment, delivered to a tight deadline to accommodate our client’s growing family.
Stripped back to bare brick, the property was carefully restructured to allow for significant alterations, including further basement excavation, a Crittall-style extension, and a complete reconfiguration across all floors to create a practical, family-and-pet-friendly layout. The design was bold and eclectic, embracing pattern, texture and rich materials while thoughtfully reintroducing traditional elements such as cornices, skirtings and architraves to maintain the home’s period charm.
