ACT
We’ve really enjoyed personalising every detail of these properties for our clients, and it’s truly satisfying to see them move in and enjoy the unique features that their new homes offer.
As we celebrate reaching the finish line, it’s a perfect time to reflect back on the journey that brought us here. At ACT, we’re dedicated to making the construction experience enriching for everyone involved—clients, staff, and our entire supply chain. We do this by finding creative solutions, pushing boundaries and maintaining clear, open communication throughout the process. Alongside stunning homes, it’s the collaborations we form that are instrumental. At a time when the contractor landscape is rapidly changing within super-prime construction, our stability ensures we stay focused on what truly matters — our clients and the quality of our work. As one consultant recently noted, “No one values client relationships in the industry like ACT.”
Reflecting on the construction journey also means re-evaluating our systems, embedding improvements and sharing lessons as we continually refine our approach. This process ensures that our work practices are optimised to fulfil the needs of increasingly challenging projects and that we continue to exceed expectations as we grow.
Of course, behind every successful project completion is a capable and driven team, and it’s incredibly rewarding to nurture that talent and watch our staff advance in their careers. We’re thrilled to announce the well-deserved promotions of Zac Shields and Thomsen Brownlie, both moving from Carpenter to Site Foreman, and Hayden Symons who has been promoted to Assistant Site Manager. We’re proud to see them take on new roles within ACT and thank them for their dedication and hard work. Congratulations also to Quinn Robinson and Scott Baines for completing their RICS Certificate in Construction Project Management.
In September, our team grew once again as we welcomed seven new members! Between them, they have a varied wishlist for a dream home – ranging from an oak-panelled games room to a fully stocked walk-in wine cellar, a rooftop infinity pool and a music room. With karaoke favourites ranging from hits by Queen and the Grease soundtrack, to Neil Diamond and Eminem, we’re excited to get to know them better socially as well as in the office. We recently had the perfect opportunity to do just that with our quarterly get-together after work, where we came together to unwind, celebrate our successes, and toast our latest milestones. A very warm welcome to the ACT family to Laura Parra, Steve Franks, Michael Harries, Will Miller, Matt Sawell, Stanley O’Brien and Michael Pandolfo!
