Random ACT of Kindness
It wouldn’t be February, without celebrating pancake day!
To mark Random ACTs of Kindness Day and Pancake Day, we surprised the whole ACT team by hand-delivering some treats, creating a moment for everyone to come together and celebrate the people who make ACT special.
Quality doesn’t just shine through the standard of our work – it underpins our culture and drives each decision we make.
Reimagining a Historic Mews into a People-Led Workplace
In February we also shared the story behind the transformation of a historic mews into ACT’s new headquarters.
What began as a need for more space to support our growing team, evolved into an opportunity to create a people-led workplace, with culture and craftsmanship at its core.
Our latest case study explores our Directors’ vision for the space, the intelligent technical solutions developed in collaboration with State Studio, and how craftsmanship was embedded into every detail of our workplace.
We’ll be bringing you highlights from our office launch party next month!

Spotlight on Sites
From a complex roof construction in the heart of Little Venice to roof framing and finishes progressing in leafy Holland Park, it’s been a busy month across sites, with several projects nearing completion.
On the topic of completed properties, we were delighted to see our project with interior designer Katie Harbison and architect De Rosee Sa featured in 1st Dibs in February. A stunning five-bedroom townhouse in the heart of leafy Notting Hill, ACT renovated this 19th-century 3,500-square-foot Italianate home which previously belonged to British children’s author Dame Shirley Hughes. We’ll be featuring more details from this beautiful property soon!
Our Growing Team
February saw the further expansion of our team with two new additions.
Cyril Collins joins as Aftercare Manager and will play a key role in evolving our Aftercare offering throughout 2026 and beyond. He brings extensive industry experience and a deep understanding of maintaining super-prime homes to the standards at which they were delivered.
Blaire Money, a fellow Kiwi, joins as one of our newest Quantity Surveyors, bringing several years of experience within the super-prime sector.
We look forward to seeing them both grow within the team.

Thank you for reading! We’ll be back next month with more updates from across our projects, team and industry, including highlights from the launch of our new headquarters!
ACT is a leading main contractor for super-prime residential construction, refurbishment and aftercare. We create homes that showcase the highest level of craftsmanship in the UK’s capital and countryside.
