ACT HQ Launch Party
We kicked off the month by opening the doors of our refurbished office to clients and partners who have supported ACT over the past 13 years.
There was a real buzz in the air as guests were invited to explore the space and take a closer look at its features, reconnect with familiar faces and initiate fresh conversations. With a mixologist on hand, a delicious grazing table and freshly made rustic pizza, the evening was a fitting reflection of what we stand for at ACT – collaboration, passion and quality. Thank you to everyone who joined us to mark this milestone, and we look forward to welcoming many more of you through our doors in 2026.
Women in Construction Week
It wouldn’t have been March without taking the time to celebrate Women in Construction week!
Across both our site and office teams, we are fortunate to work alongside many driven, talented women who play a vital role in ACT’s success every day. As our business evolves, we remain committed to creating even more opportunities for women to thrive within it.
After spotlighting the career journey of one of ACT’s long-standing employees, Tasmyn Harris, Office Manager turned Project Administrator, we closed the week with refreshments in the office and a celebratory toast. Here’s to all the women making an impact throughout the construction industry!
Co-sponsoring Teddington U13 Rugby Team
At ACT, we value the role of exercise in enhancing mental wellbeing and social interaction.
That’s why we’re proud to support Teddington U13 Rugby Team on their Bath 2026 tour alongside CC Electrical Solutions and Triple Solutions. From the teamwork displayed on the pitch to the camaraderie off it, the weekend was a fantastic reflection of collaboration and shared goals – values that strongly align with how we operate at ACT.
Congratulations to the entire team for an outstanding tour, it’s a weekend every player should be proud of!
Spotlight on Sites
With several projects now nearing completion, work continues to progress at pace.
In the heart of Notting Hill, a stunning Victorian villa is transforming into a beautifully finished family home, thanks to the precision and care of our site teams and specialist partners. An integrated lift has now been installed alongside finalising bespoke joinery in the kitchen and master suite.
Meanwhile, at one of our newer sites in Holland Park, early-stage works are well underway with demolition and underpinning now complete. The ground floor rear garden foundations and new structural slab preparations are on schedule, and concrete is due to be installed in coming weeks. With the arrival of steel components, the structural execution phase is set to begin. We’re excited to watch momentum continue to build at this property!
Looking Ahead
With UK Construction Week approaching, we’re looking forward to connecting with peers across the industry and continuing the conversations that shape our work.
Our Co-Founder, Cameron de Wys, will be speaking at the Housing Action Hub stage on Thursday 14 May discussing the topic of “Heritage Homes, Modern Living: Renovating for Today and Tomorrow”. Drawing from his personal experience, he will join fellow panelists from Bidwells, Boundary Space and Stevensons of Norwich to share thoughtful insights into delivering contemporary heritage construction projects while retaining and restoring historical significance.
