March was a month full of momentum and milestones for #TeamACT. With some glorious sunshine putting a spring in our step, we made impressive strides across our projects, launched a refreshed brand identity and marked Employee Appreciation Day and Women in Construction Week. Read on to discover the key highlights that made March a month to remember!
A Strong Start in Holland Park; Ahead of Target in Chelsea
We’re raring to go at our latest project in Holland Park. Our first few weeks on site have been about starting on a firm (and safe) footing – with hoarding going up, safety handrails installed, protection measures in place and site services being isolated and switched to temporary supplies.
Over in Chelsea, works have progressed ahead of schedule by cleverly resequencing the underfloor heating to take place three months in advance. This proactive move has enabled the screed installation to be completed early, allowing first fix electrical and drylining works to kick off much sooner than planned – a great example of forward thinking and teamwork. We’re excited to see this project beginning to take shape with blockwork walls going up on several floors, dividing the space into defined areas. Exciting times ahead!
In March we unveiled our refreshed brand and new website. This evolution is about having an identity that matches the quality of our craft; mirroring the pride we take in our work, the energy we bring to every challenge, and the meticulous planning that defines how we work.
Our updated look is informed by the same five values and “Refining Construction” ethos that are still at our core – now expressed through a sharper, more dynamic presence that reflects our fresh approach to the super-prime sector and the reputation we’ve built.

Two Important Celebrations
We began the month by celebrating Employee Appreciation Day, bringing the team together for a relaxed social event with great food, drinks and a few heartfelt words from our Director Alister to thank everyone for their ongoing hard work and dedication.
Later in the month, we marked Women in Construction Week with an inspiring Lunch & Learn focused on empowerment, inclusion and supporting women in the construction industry. As a people-centred business, we know that high performance stems from a culture where diverse perspectives are embraced. This session provided an ideal opportunity to reflect on the critical role women play in leadership – not just in promoting equity, but also in driving innovation, strengthening team collaboration and enhancing decision-making across complex projects. Creating space for these conversations is essential for a more inclusive, dynamic and future-fit construction industry. New Starters and Promotions
We welcomed new team members and celebrated some well-earned promotions last month. Jessica Wong joined our Special Projects team as Project Manager, and Lee Skidmore came on board as Senior Project Manager focusing on one of our Holland Park developments. We’re also thrilled to congratulate Sam Dibley and Matthew Jessop, who both moved into Foreman roles – a testament to their hard work and dedication.
We were equally excited to welcome Andrea Taylor to lead ACT’s Marketing function. With over 20 years in the property sector across development, construction, asset sales and estate management, Andrea brings a wealth of insight to the team. A qualified architect, she’s known for her sharp eye for design and detail, and we’re excited to see her take our marketing to the next level.
