March 2024 Round-Up

Throughout March, we doubled down on our “CAN DO” attitude and set aside time to reflect on its powerful benefits. ACT’s can-do mindset enables us to address issues head-on, concentrate on finding new solutions to challenges, navigate around obstacles and maintain resilience during setbacks. Our can-do approach really is the difference that makes the difference!

It was a pleasure to highlight the contributions of several team members who exemplify our can-do mindset. Special congratulations go to Florin Papuc, our Carpenter in the Projects Team who was recognised with our monthly impACT Award. Florin exudes “can-do” every day whilst working on different jobs and sites. His confidence in his skills, willingness to take on challenges, ability to find solutions and support for colleagues make him a true joy to work with. Way to go Florin!

More widely, Employee Appreciation Day gave us a fantastic reason to thank everyone across our organisation for their valued contributions. We marked the occasion by enjoying some savory treats, switching up our crockery to mugs emblazoned with our core values and distributing our brand guidelines to keep us all aligned. Cheers to our amazing team – we appreciate everything you do!

Alongside refreshing our “can-do” mindset, we also paid attention to maintaining physical health and getting out in the fresh air to enjoy nature’s rejuvenation. ACT’s run-club keeps going strong, and we encouraged all staff to step into the new season with added bounce by distributing cushioned socks! And on the subject of goodies, we musn’t forget the delicious deliveries of chocolate treats that ensured an ‘eggcellent’ start to Easter.

Staying with the theme of welcoming in new beginnings, construction has officially begun on our latest Notting Hill project. The site is now buzzing with activity as strip-out works progress and the setup is completed. This milestone marks the start of a significant phase, and we’re excited to have started work. We’ve also been busy with a portfolio of projects to refresh and upgrade property interiors in partnership with several prestigious interior design firms. This includes enhancing two properties in Marylebone and a new build duplex apartment in Bayswater. We look forward to bringing these creative visions to reality.

As we say hello to the season of growth, our team is energised to embark on new business journeys and forge fresh relationships as we make strides in our industry as the go-to super-prime construction firm.
