Charity Golf Day: A Day on the Course for a Great Cause
Last month, we welcomed guests from across the super prime construction industry to our Charity Golf Day at the stunning Hampton Court Palace Golf Club. Players of all abilities came together for a day of friendly competition, connection and an opportunity to give back.
Thanks to the collective effort of everyone involved – from the players on the course to our generous sponsors, and ACT’s team organising the day behind the scenes – we’re proud to have raised £3,500 for Mind, the mental health charity. We’re grateful to everyone who came along and supported the event – your generosity made it all possible, and your energy made it truly memorable. We were delighted with the positive feedback from attendees on how much they enjoyed it as well.

21 Half Marathons in 21 Days: Alister’s Challenge for Mind
In June, our Director Alister took on an ambitious challenge: running 21 half marathons in 21 consecutive days for the mental health charity Mind.
Over a period of 3 weeks, Al ran over 440km – that’s further than London to Edinburgh! His determination, resilience and commitment were inspirational… as were his smiles throughout.
Together with his supporters, Al raised over £9,000 to help Mind provide vital mental health services. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, cheered Al on, and followed his journey – including those who came early into the office to see him cross the final finish line (check out the photos for those who missed it)!
Spotlight on Sites
Holland Park has been buzzing with ACTivity in June. It’s been a busy and productive month across our projects in this neighbourhood, with strong teamwork driving things forward.
At one property – a substantial detached period home – the existing roof slates, battens, and membrane have been removed and swiftly replaced. We’re looking forward to seeing the dormer windows lined with lead and slate tiling beginning on the rear pitched roof next. Below on the lower ground floor, new joists have been installed, and both ground beams have been poured in preparation for the next phase of works.
Just around the corner also within the Conservation Area, works are progressing at pace on a grand villa with demolition of the rear terrace and lift shaft about to begin. Meanwhile our newest site is underway with opening up works. With a fast-paced programme ahead, we look forward to sharing updates as this exciting project quickly takes shape.
Looking Ahead to July
So that wraps up June – an awesome month of passion combined with purpose, fuelled by great teamwork – and a fantastic way to close out the quarter. Next month, we’re looking forward to ACT’s annual summer BBQ and the launch of a standout new project in a unique historic home.
