ACT

From elevating our brand, to the launch of our new HQ and completing some incredible homes, 2025 has been a defining year for ACT. With so much to celebrate, we took a moment to remind ourselves of some of our proudest moments as we kick-start 2026.

Spotlight On Sites

2025 saw the completion of some incredible projects.

We started off strong with an impressive duplex apartment located in the heart of Knightsbridge. Handing over the property completely defect-free was a moment the whole ACT team were proud of, and a real testament to our commitment to quality.

We rounded off the year with the completion of a stunning Notting Hill townhouse created in partnership with Katie Harbison. Finished to the highest specification, this project was a showcase of the care and craftsmanship required to build an exceptional home.

ACT HQ

Revitalising ACT’s HQ

November marked a major milestone for ACT: we officially opened our doors to our newly refurbished HQ!

What was once a compact, enclosed space, is now a considered workplace designed with our people at its core. With an intentionally stripped back design that demonstrates our attention to detail throughout, the building provides a daily reminder of our talented team involved in its making

We look forward to welcoming more partners and clients into our new home very soon.

Unveiling ACT’s New Brand

Last year, we introduced our refreshed brand and new website to better reflect who ACT is today. Underpinned by the same core values that have guided us from the outset, our new identity represents the growth of the business, and encompasses how we’re refining construction through teamwork, craftsmanship, and a can-do approach.

The Growth of Our People

2025 saw us welcome many new faces to ACT, strengthening resources across the business. A particular highlight was being shortlisted for the Employer of the Year Award by the Considerate Constructors Scheme, recognising the culture and values that underpin how we work.

As we move into 2026, that momentum continues with a clear focus on developing our people, supporting both personal progression and professional excellence.

Our Learning & Development Manager, Jordan Harlow, adds:

“We’re deepening our investment in our people this year. With strong foundations already in place, we’re able to facilitate development across all departments. We’re excited to see our team flourish through new programmes and workshops that support people to perform at their best.”

This continued investment reflects not only the growth of ACT, but also the inclusive, supportive culture we continue to build.

Charity Golf Day

Back in June, we held our annual Charity Golf Day where we brought together guests from the super-prime industry for a day of friendly competition, and to support an important cause.

Thanks to our generous sponsors and guests, we collected £3,500 for Mind. This was a wonderful day filled with connection and collaboration while raising funds for mental health. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, we hope to see you again in 2026.

Gold RoSPA Award

ACT was incredibly proud to have been awarded the RoSPA Gold Award for our ongoing commitment to improving Health and Safety practices.

Our Health and Safety Manager, Tim Jeeves, reflected that “Securing Gold award is a testament to everyone’s hard work, creativity and determination to protect people both inside and outside of the workplace. This reward reflects the culture of care we’ve built together at ACT.”

We strive to raise the bar every day, ensuring each employee, partner and client is kept safe across each of our locations.

ACT In the Press

With a wealth of expertise across the business, it was time to shine a light on the knowledge and experience of our people.

We were delighted for Johnny Claydon, Mathew Reeves, Cameron de Wys and our Design Management Team, to be featured in various industry magazines sharing their insights on super-prime construction.

  1. ACT’s Design Management Team & SB Joinery in ABC&D Magazine: “Reviving Traditional British Skills for Contemporary Heritage Projects”
  2. Johnny Claydon in Refurb and Renovation News: “Balancing Heritage and Modern Comfort Through Bathroom Design”
  3. Cameron de Wys in Building Design: “The Paradox of Simplicity: Achieving Invisible Luxury in Super Prime Homes”
  4. Mathew Reeves in Architectural Magazine: “Roofing Mastery In Heritage And High-End Residential Projects”

21 Marathons In 21 Days

Setting big goals is in ACT’s DNA. Midway through the year, our Founding Director, Alister de Wys, took on the challenge of running 21 half marathons in 21 days in support of Mind.

In just over three weeks and 440km later, Alister raised an incredible £9,900 for the mental health charity. We’re incredibly thankful to everyone who contributed to such an important cause and cheered Al on along the way.

City Harvest Giving Day

During October, the organisation came together in support of City Harvest Giving Day to help tackle food poverty within communities in London.

Collectively, we contributed an impressive 120kg worth of food, equating to 286 meals for those in need. A big thank you to everyone who took part in providing vital supplies for our city’s most vulnerable residents.

Partnering with Breadcrumb

Following long-term investment in our Health and Safety practices at ACT, partnering with Breadcrumb was the next natural step in our development.

Digitising our processes has allowed more sophisticated tracking and data analysis, providing deeper insights on safety performance. We look forward to seeing how this collaboration will further enhance our Health and Safety at ACT.

ACT Sports Day

Our site and office teams came together to enjoy the warm August weather for some friendly competition at ACT’s Sports Day.

The afternoon was filled with classic games, and plenty of snacks and refreshments to keep us energised throughout. It was great to see colleagues apply their teamwork and competitive skills outside of the workplace!

Celebrating the Festive Season

We marked the start of the festive season with ACT’s Christmas Party at One Great George Street, bringing together staff, consultants and clients to reflect on a successful year and enjoy a memorable evening in a stunning setting. Thank you to all those that joined us.

That’s a wrap for our 2025 highlights, thank you for reading! We have an exciting 2026 ahead, and will be sharing it right here! Join us for more project updates, inspirational interiors and technical insights – and meet the people behind-the-scenes who make it all happen.
